If you want to downgrade a Xena system there are two options:
1. If you have the .msi file that was used to install the current version you initiate that. After the opening screen you will get the following screen:
You select “Remove”. The current version will be removed and you can now install the older version.
When you come to the ChassisUpgrader be sure that all items (both Chassis and test modules) are checked before you select “Start Upgrade”
2. If you don’t have the .msi file that was used to install the current version, you need to remove the current version of the XenaManager (XenaManager-2G) from your PC using the Windows (Settings/Apps). Under Apps & features find the Xena Layer 2-3 Software Release xx (xx shows the version number of the currently installed software version). Click on the item (Xena Layer 2-3 Software Release xx): You will now get the option to Uninstall. Click on that and the current version will be removed from your PC and you can now install the older version.
When you come to the ChassisUpgrader be sure that all items (both Chassis and test modules) are checked before you select “Start Upgrade”.
