What are Solution Tracks?
Solution Tracks are software‑enabled, advanced Ethernet test capabilities that extend standard Xena traffic generators with specialized test methodologies for AI, & Ultra Ethernet, Layer 1, AN/LT validation and MACsec.
The four Solution Tracks (see below) are exclusively available for specific Xena traffic generators. Purchasing Solution Tracks does not require any hardware updates for the modules, and module can support multiple Solution Tracks.
Solution Tracks are dynamic – meaning new features and enhancements will be added to them over time in response to e.g. customer demand and as the technology evolves. New features and enhancements for the Solution Tracks are included in the general Xena software releases and will always be available as long as the specific module is covered by a valid warranty.
Easy to activate
- A unique activation key for each Solution Track is locked to the specific serial number of the module
- Using XenaManager 3 (XM3), simply upload the key to the module. (With R106 this is only possible with new modules while in R107 it will be possible for existing modules.)
- The key is stored on the module only and not on the system (XenaServer), allowing the module to be moved to another chassis if necessary
Which traffic generators support Solution Tracks?
- Solution Tracks are only available for specific Xena traffic generators as shown in this table
- There are no Solutions Tracks available for our Z01 / Z10 Odin traffic generators – like all our traffic generators, these modules come with a comprehensive range of software features via XenaManager, standalone test suites for RFC2544, RFC2889, RFC3918 & Y.1564, and our complete portfolio of automation and scripting tools such as Xena OpenAutomation (XOA).
