Xena Networks sponsors talented Danish F4 Driver

Leader in high-speed Ethernet test solutions backs Sebastian Gravlund’s first year in Spanish F4 series.

Xena Networks, a global leader in high-speed Ethernet Traffic Generation and Analysis (TGA) solutions, is proud to announce a sponsorship agreement with the Danish F4 driver, Sebastian Gravlund who will be competing in the Spanish F4 championship in his first professional season with the premier Dutch racing team, MP Motorsport.

“The decision for Xena to sponsor Sebastian makes sense on multiple levels,” says Jacob Nielsen, CEO of Xena Networks. “He is an emerging talent in a hotly contested field where high-speed, advanced technology that needs to be rigorously tested are essential for success. This matches perfectly Xena’s own profile as an innovative force in high-speed Ethernet testing.”

Like others before him, Sebastian Gravlund started in Danish go-cart racing circuits before graduating to the European circuits. Now with three seasons in both the European and world championship series, Sebastian Gravlund aims to follow in the footsteps of drivers like Nicolas Latifi and Danish Christian Lundgaard who have also raced for MP Motorsport during their careers.

MP Motorsport is one of Europe’s leading motor-racing teams, with over 25 years’ experience in international motorsport from the low classes all the way up to Formula 2. They have won the F4 Spanish Championship five times in the last six years.

Being chosen as part of MP Motorsport’s team is a huge achievement but Sebastian Gravlund knows a lot of hard work lies ahead if he is to achieve his dream of standing on the winner’s podium.

“I’m still at school and need to take that seriously, but driving is my passion and I have a great team behind me so I’m willing to do what it takes to make the most of this incredible opportunity,” says Sebastian, who recently turned 17.

“Meeting Sebastian and his father Mads Gravlund, we were impressed by their ambition, drive and professionalism. We saw a great synergy between us, and an opportunity to help an inspiring Scandinavian talent achieve his full potential,” confirms Jacob Nielsen.
