Jacob Christensen

Jacob M. Christensen

General Manager

Jacob M. Christensen (JMC) has over a decade’s experience working in senior leadership positions within the telecommunications industry. Before joining Xena, Jacob worked as VP of Product Management at Procera Networks, specializing in Active Network Intelligence Solutions for the telecom, government and enterprise markets. Prior to that Jacob served as VP of Strategy at Cobham SATCOM where he was responsible of the overall product strategy of the SATCOM group. Jacob holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.

Martin Qvist Olsen

VP Marketing

Martin Qvist Olsen has over 20 years’ experience working in leading global technology companies in the Ethernet network silicon industry. Spanning the realms of development, application support, product marketing/management, he has held positions with Intel, Microchip, and Höttinger Brüel & Kjær in both management and board-level roles. Martin’s professional qualifications includes a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Business & Administration (EBA) from the Engineering College of Copenhagen (IHK).

Bo Rosenkilde

VP Engineering

Bo Rosenkilde has spent 20 years working with every aspect of R&D software, hardware to mechanics, building up a strong understanding of the technical challenges and the processes required to solve them. For more than 10 years, Bo has driven the R&D activities from senior leadership positions. Prior to joining Xena, he was CTO at Cryptera where he held the overall responsibility for strategy, technology and PMO, while also managing both R&D and PM. Bo has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Teknikum Copenhagen.

Claus Hoyer

Claus Hoyer

VP Technology & Architecture

Claus Hoyer is an expert in advanced system architecture and design and has over 20 years of experience in the networking and communications industry. Claus has held engineering and senior management positions in international companies, including Cisco, Enigma Semiconductor, Texas Instruments, Marvell Technology. He has also been involved as co-founder and early initiator in several high-tech startups. Claus holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.

Søren Nordahl Svendsen


With more than 25 years’ experience in Finance, Søren Nordahl Svendsen has worked in a broad range of different industries from software & gaming, FMCG, medical supplements and logistics. Søren is an experienced leader and finance professional, and has held various roles within business controlling, IT & project management, investment management, strategical analysis and M&A. Søren holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and Organization from Copenhagen Business School.

North America

Craig DuFrenne

Director of Sales, USA

Craig DuFrenne manages Xena’s sales activities across the US. He has 25 years’ experience in the IT industry, and has worked extensively in both test & measurement (with Nettest Inc. and later Anritsu), and with leading providers of advanced networking solutions. Craig has a BSEE, Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.


Owen Chen

General Manager, China

Owen Chen has been the leader of Xena APAC and Xena China since November 2016. With over 16 years in the test & measurement industry, he is a highly experienced professional with hands-on experience of both network testing and business development. Owen came to Xena from Spirent where he played multiple roles from pre-sales service engineer, product specialist, tech support, to business manager of multiple business units throughout APAC, helping Spirent to remarkable sales successes in that period. Owen has a Bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Beijing University of Post and Telecommunication.


Mohammad Fahad Abbasi

General Manager, India

Mohammad Fahad Abbasi heads the sales for Xena in India, SAARC and Middle East. He has over 13 years of experience in technology (QA and development) and sales, and an extensive  background in test and measurement and networking product sales.  Fahad holds an Engineering degree in Computer science, and an MBA in Innovation Management from Grenoble Graduate School of Business, France.


Greg Zhivotovsky

Sales and Global Key Accounts Director

Based in Tel Aviv, Greg Zhivotovsky has an extensive and impressive sales record with companies in the IT sector. His current position at Xena is Sales Director for Israel and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), as well as managing our Global Key Accounts. Prior to this, Greg worked with the local distributor for Xena’s products in Israel, accruing a deep insight into our Ethernet test solutions and how they address customer’s challenges.
