Overview

Buying a Xena solution includes free access to all our user software – XenaManager and Xena OpenAutomation (XOA) as well as our standalone applications for RFC testing – plus 3 years’ of free SW updates.

XenaManager

XenaManager is a Windows desktop application provided for ad-hoc test execution, and remote management of test equipment located in multiple locations. Key features include:

Ethernet Traffic Generation & Physical Layer testing
Used for functional and performance testing of all Ethernet speeds up to 800Gbps
Easy management of ports and traffic streams shaped to match any real-world scenario
Packet editor with support for both protocol and byte-level packet definitions
Automatic protocol decoding of incoming packets
Supports multiple Xena chassis shared by multiple users in different locations down to the port level via TCP/IP

XenaManager3 – the evolution continues

We’ve been adding new features and enhancing the usability of XenaManager for over a decade. Right now we’re consolidating all of these improvements into XenaManager3 (XM3) – a brand “new” version loaded with great new features that make testing high-speed Ethernet even easier.

Xena OpenAutomation (XOA)

XOA is an open-source test automation framework for use with Xena’s traffic generators and network emulation solution.

Fast, easy to use and extremely flexible, XOA features a Python API that runs on any OS.

XOA includes numerous convenient features for harnessing legacy Xena and 3rd party automation and scripting processes, extensive documentation and can be freely downloaded from GitHub.

XOA CLI, a command-line-interface scripting API with hundreds of scriptable parameters to make test automation easier.

Xena Test Suite Desktop Applications

Xena Test Suite Desktop Applications (for Windows) include automated test suites for RFC 2544, Y.1564, RFC 2889 and RFC 3918 testing.

Xena2544 supports all four test types specified in RFC2544, plus the flexibility to run just test types you need. Xena2544 can handle multiple network topologies, and supports traffic flows in both Layer 2 and Layer 3, for testing both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.
