How To Enable Packet Engines (PE’S) On Vulcan Bay Box

Vulcan Bay Hardware box supports 24 Packet Engines (PE’S) or CPU Cores.

The port’s traffic generation capabilities increases with the number of PE’S you add to the port. You can add up to 12 PE’S per port.

To fully utilize the Vulcan Bay Hardware box, you can configure the client port to support 12 PE’S  & the server port to support 12 PE’S, also make sure the Client Port uses Allocation Group 0 & the Server Port uses Allocation Group 1 or Vice-Versa.

Launch Vulcan Manager -> Chassis Explorer -> Xena L4-L7 Module
