Xena joins the O-RAN Alliance

We are proud to announce Xena Networks is now a member of the O-RAN Alliance. The O-RAN Alliance is a worldwide community of mobile network operators, vendors, and research & academic institutions operating in the Radio Access Network (RAN) industry. Its mission is to re-shape the RAN industry towards more intelligent, open, virtualized and fully interoperable mobile networks.

Michael da Costa Carneiro, Xena’s Product Manager for Chimera said: “As an emerging leader in the Ethernet test industry, Xena Networks’ solutions tackle the challenges of unpredictable real-world networks due to phenomena such as latency, jitter, and packet loss.”

Xena’s high-speed Chimera #network #impairment #emulation solution helps accurately assess the performance of networks under real-life conditions. Tight integration of traffic generation and network impairment is a fundamental test capability.

Xena will be following O-RAN’s overall approach for testing and integration, including coordination of test specifications across various WGs.
