How to use break-out cables on Xena Chimera
Discover the full potential of Xena Chimera's 5 speeds impairment
The Xena Chimera test modules support 100Gbps, 50Gbps, 40Gbps, 25Gbps and 10Gbps port speeds depending on transceiver and in some cases splitter cables. This Application Note describes how to use the different speeds to their full potential. It includes two configuration examples:
- How a 100Gbps port is to provide 25Gbps on 4 separate ports via a break-out cable
- How two 40Gbps ports can provide 10Gbps on 8 separate ports using two break-out cables
